Who calibrates their in line TDS meter?

Who does this, how often and is it a simple task of droppin the probes one by one into the solution?

Had my RO Man unit coming up a year and never calibrated the inline TDS meter, not ever sure if there is any dial to calibrate it

It's one these ones:

Hi Cav, same meter as mine, I haven't ever calibrated it but have been thinking about it recently as I saw some calibrating fluid for sale and figured it wouldn't do ant harm.
I couldn't find a calibrating thingy when I looked although that was when I got it a year ago-ish, Miles.

I know them come factory calibrated but I recall a thread on here once about calibrating in lines. I will have to check on the back after I finish work on Sunday.

The instructions are here Wayne, according to the instructions there is a screw on the back.

Doesn't answer your question really but may help.

As far as i am aware TDS meters are like Refractometers they need calibrating on a regular basis ie every time they are used. If they get knocked they can go out of sinc and give a false reading. Not a lot of folk do calibrate them on a regular basis as a lot dont know you can.Eric

Trust me...its worth doing at least every couple of months....better still, add a second single inline meter as a backup.
